Hathaway papers, 1893-1956.

Reminiscences of Mary Hathaway; includes an 85-page typescript "Memoirs of Mrs. W.H. Hathaway, Nogales, c.1956", and an eight-page handwritten letter from Mary to the Arizona Pioneers Historical Society with more reminiscences. Most of her reminiscences relate to growing up in the religious community of Sunnyside and Copper Glance Camp, ranch life, and there is some description of Tombstone, Arizona. She tells of schools, doctors, patent medicine salesmen, and people in Tombstone around 1900. She also mentions the Herrick Ranch on the San Pedro, residents of the Huachuca Mountains, and her husband, Will Hathaway, and his experiences in politics.
